Sunday 15th September 2013 - Wheelwright Memorial Bell
St. Peter's Church has a new treble bell.
It is a gift from Mr George S May in memory of P.A.Wheelwright nee May and M.E.Dennis nee Riley.
The Bell was cast at John Taylor Bell Foundry in Loughborough on July 24th 2013. The Bell was then brought to St. Peter's for a Dedication Service on Sunday 15th September where it was named, by Mr May, as the 'Wheelwright Memorial Bell'.
Both the above events were well attended by parishioners, Mr May and his family.
The Bell will be hung in the Bell Tower when all the repairs to the Tower and Spire are complete
