Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th June 2013 - Wedding Dress Festival
St. Peter's Church looked stunning with all the wedding dresses that had so kindly been donated - from the 1920’s to present day - and all the flowers. Over 100 visitors enjoyed the displays then had tea and a variety of scrumptious cakes! The sunny weekend was finished off with a Wedding Songs of Praise which included all the 'favourite' wedding hymns and readings.
Thank you to all who helped, lent their wedding dresses, made cakes, arranged flowers and to the 'churchyard gang' for making the churchyard look so neat and tidy!
It all looked lovely.
A fantastic £556 was raised for the Bell Tower Restoration Fund.
