Sunday 7th June 2015 - Village Fete & Fun Dog Show

It was the most beautiful sunny day for our Fete and we were well supported by Villagers and passers by.

The Fun Dog Show which was sponsored by Murrayhill Kennels, at Twyford, was a great success. Dodson & Horrell and Webbox also supplied many wonderful prizes.

From the Waggiest Tail-Dog most like its owner to Obedience walking past a sausage, to name but a few classes, everyone had a chance to win prizes for their 'Best Friends'.

The atmosphere was great listening to music, smelling the hot dogs and drinking Pimms/Sangria. The Cake Stall was very busy as was the Tombola, Refreshments and Raffle.

Thank you to the Dog Show sponsors, Murrayhill Kennels, also to everyone who generously gave in 'the scrounge', made cakes, gave plants, raffle prizes etc. and to everyone who helped to set up and helped at the Fete and to everyone who supported us.

A grand total of £2311.70 was counted at the end and after expenses £2189.15 will be put towards the running expenses of the Church, especially the Insurance.
