Every Sunday in July 2016 - Teas in Church

Busy Teas this July with some nice sunny weather which saw many visitors sitting outside for their teas in our lovely churchyard.     

There were lots of delicious cakes and scones which were very tempting for everyone. Once again it was a very sociable Sunday afternoon enjoyed by locals and visitors, some of whom became regulars!  

The most memorable weeks were -

The 2nd week which was quite with Wimbledon men's finals and other sport on TV.

The 3rd week after Teas we held Worship for All with the signing of the Declaration of Ecumenical Welcome and Commitment with Halstead Methodist Church.

The 4th week we invited some of our brothers and sisters for tea from the Masjid-al-Falah Mosque from Leicester who enjoyed our hospitality.

The lucky winner of the raffle was Caroline.

Thank you to everyone who supported and helped.
