Saturday 16th March 2013 - Melton Mowbray Orchestra

The first fundraiser of 2013 was a concert by Melton Mowbray Orchestra. It was moved from the Church to the Village Hall due to the cold weather. It was a very sociable occasion with over 80 people in the warm Village Hall.

After a short rehearsal, followed by tea, Melton Mowbray Orchestra played a selection of Mozart, Beethoven and Bizet. Drinks and nibbles during the interval were very much enjoyed by all.

Tilton PCC are very grateful to Melton Mowbray Orchestra for giving their time and expertise for us all to enjoy.

£601.43 was raised for the Bell Tower Restoration Fund.
