Saturday 19th December 2015 - Christmas at St Peter’s Church

Teas and coffee were served with warm mince pies whilst visitors sat in the pews and enjoyed looking at our Christmas Decorations. The church looked lovely with the candles lit and the lights twinkling in the windows and on the Christmas Tree.

The raffle for two Christmas Hampers, Champagne and a calendar was well supported with tickets at £1. We had managed to sell quite a few raffle tickets prior to 19th so our donations and raffle money totalled £228.10. £30 was sent to the Save the Children Fund with the remainder going to the repairs of the Bell Tower.

The lucky winners were Kathy B, Wendy and Graham.

Thank you to everyone who decorated the church, Norman for the Christmas Tree, all who helped at the event and supplied Christmas Fayre and everyone who came and supported us.
